Our Flagship MODX-1616 offers the latest in Modular Matrix technology from CYP, now capable of delivering 4KUHD (4:4:4 @ 60hz/HDR10 Dolby Vision) signals from Input to Output. Due to the flexibility of the MODX's I/O structure, up to 4 input/Output cards can be loaded into the chassis providing total installation flexibility.
Up to 16 inputs (in multiples of 4) can be independently routed to any of the 16 output ports. Each HDMI card is capable of delivering up to four independent 18Gbps (6G) video signals simultaneously to any of the chosen HDBaseT or HDMI output ports, up to and including 4K@60Hz (4:4:4, 8-bit) as well as 10/12-bit sources with HDR are fully supported. All ports support up to 7.1 channel LPCM digital audio as well as Bitstream and HD Bitstream audio formats. I/O cards using the HDMI interface (HDMI 2.0, HDCP 2.2) and HDBaseT 2.0 are available to increase installation flexibility.
Despite the 10.2Gbps limitation of HDBaseT™ technology, this groundbreaking product enables data rates of up to 18Gbps to be transmitted using AVLC (Adaptive Visually Lossless Compression) Technology. The transmitter enables 4KUHD sources up-to and including 4K@60Hz (4:4:4 8-bit) as well as 10/12 bit sources with HDR (Including Dolby Vision) to be extended to a PUV-2100RX-AVLC receiver. The result is a perfect 4K 6G visually lossless image delivered to the display screen.
The MODX-1616 also includes an analogue audio matrix enabling audio to be independently routed from any of the input cards to any audio output cards within the chassis. The audio matrix can be controlled and configured with the MODX WebGUI. The chassis is powered by a pair of high-quality, 'hot-swappable', load sharing power supplies with an integrated failure alarm system ensuring that mission critical installations can stay online 24/7.
