The RE-EDID-4K22 is designed to manage and manipulate the HDMI/DVI EDID information provided to a HDMI source device by a connected display. EDID contains critical information about the capabilities of the connected display, including audio and video format support, HDMI feature support, etc. This product aims to simplify the technical complications that often arise when performing video system integration, home cinema installation, integrating commercial displays or audio/video equipment testing.
